chanri has always worked hard to impress her parents and to meet their expectations. with her mother being a movie director and her father working as a producer for different movies and shows, it was somewhat natural for chanri to go into the same direction. she took interest in acting early on, trying her best to be part of any school plays or musicals starting during elementary school.

not, that her parents would be able to make it to her performances often. they did not make it home a lot, either traveling overseas for new productions or for award shows and movie premieres. while chanri had different babysitters to watch over her for a lot of her life, she was left by herself by the age of fourteen, as she was "old enough to look after herself".

chanri was not ungrateful, as she had the opportunity to partake in her interests, like painting or even sewing, being gifted new equipment for either even on occasions that were not her birthday or christmas. though, even as she was able to indulge herself in her different hobbies, acting was, by far, her favourite. the drama club meetings at her school were the things she was most looking forward to every week. she enjoyed being around others who shared her passion and being able to perform different roles over and over again.
